Uneasy Lies The Mouth That Wears A Crown.

A couple of weeks ago while eating I noticed that it felt like something had gotten wedged between my teeth. Upon further inspection I noticed that it wasn't something wedge between my teeth it was something wedged down into my tooth and the backside of the tooth was split. Great! I had just made reservations to rent a cabin in southern IL.for our 21st anniversary and was wondering if I might be able to put this off until we got back from our trip. We enjoyed our anniversary trip without any issue from the tooth. On Monday, after we had returned, I called my dentists office and made an appointment. During my appointment I was informed that I hadn't broken a tooth..I had broken 2 teeth. I have to have a filling and a crown. This will be my first crown and I am not excited about it at all. Today I went in for my appointment and was there for about an hour and a half. I left the office with a numb left half of my jaw, a temporary crown and a few less dollars in the bank. I am glad that my dental insurance paid for about half of the bill. I will have to go back in 3 weeks to get the permanent crown placed. 2018 not getting off to a very good start.

Well today is another year. I am hoping that this year is better than the last few years. I am feeling like there needs to be a big change in things but I am not sure what. I wonder if this is what a mid life crisis feels like? I am antsy and feel like I am just waiting around for something to happen. Good or bad, who knows. Anyway I hope that 2017 treated you well and that 2018 is better.
