Well I had my A/C guy stop by today and the diagnosis is a bad blower motor. After looking online I have seen prices ranging from $60 to $100 dollars. It could be worse. He is going to bring home a motor tomorrow and replace it. It really comes in handy to know a A/C guy.

We have our windows open here as it's a nice cool night; hoping the cooler weather is a blessing until your a/c is up and running again.
