Last night we had company... Good company...It was Jennifer from Jenny from the blog. Needlefingers made broccoli cheese soup with croissant on the side. It was just the thing to warm us on a cool October night. We sat around discussing the important things in life like what the inside of a skittles wrapper smells like and what might the world be like if "W" had half a clue. Anyway it was a pleasant evening all around. Since we have the Quartz heater going Kitty Boy has found a favorite place to lay. Of course its in the only traffic lane to get to the kitchen, so we have to step over him regularly while he lays stretched out front claws dug into the carpet so that his back looks like a sway back horse. The leaves on the tree in the front yard are falling. I think they have only just changed color just a couple days ago but sadly they are not staying on the tree to show off there lovely colors. They are spinning to the ground in groups every time the wind even hints at blowing. At this rate the tree will be naked within the next few days. It is now dark and I cannot see the leaves, another Monday is about to slip away.
The first picture is of the tree canopy in the front yard. The second is the ground below it.

I always have a good time at the Rambling/Needlefingers home! Oh, and I always get fed well, too. :) I wish I had some broccoli soup right now.
