Weekend Fenzy Continues.

Today I awoke promptly at 7:oo am. I got up and got my shower and was ready to face the day. After Needles woke up we waited for a load of laundry to finish. One of many on the day. After the wet clothes was loaded onto the dryer we set out to the big city to see what they had. First visit was to Wal-Mart. After spending some moolah there we then went to Kmart and didn't find much. Next was CVS to see what Halloween items they might have marked down and then to Walgreen for more of the same. After that our stomachs were growling since we skipped breakfast and it was now 11:30 am. Our next stop was at the Chinese restaurant. We devoured plate after plate of food and then waddled out to the truck to continue our shopping. Our next stop was to JC Pennys where we found some nice bargains. A nice comforter and sheet set for our new bed and Needles found a nice pair of shoes. After that we went to Rural King and then to Lowe's for our home improvement dreams. I must say we must have been in the mood to improve because we came out of there with a new mailbox, new toilet seat. Isn't that an odd combination but they were things that I have wanted to replace for some time and finally got around to it. The mailbox is one that a magazine will fit nicely in as Needles get several subscriptions of knitting magazines a I got tire of see them crammed into out little mailbox.
Tonight we are getting ready for Halloween tomorrow night. The spooky fencing is up and the caution tape is strung around. All is left is everything, like the guillotine and the electric chair, the skeleton in the cage and the coffin, the fog machine and the lanterns....... Not much. I am hoping the showers they have forecasted stays away. If not I fear we will have a smaller turn out. Last year we had a great turn out of 83 trick or treaters. This is great when we usually average around 50 or so. Happy Halloween.

The picture above is what Needles and I felt like to day. Busy busy busy bee.
