Back from the BIG City.

Needles and I desperately needed to do a little grocery shopping. We first stopped at Taco Bell for breakfast because when you think of breakfast food you instantly think Taco Bell. Needles had the Chicken Quesadilla and I had the new Crunchwraps. They were very good. We then went to the grocery store and then Wally World. We returned home to notice it had snowed while we were gone and there was a nice covering of the white stuff on everything. With the temperature hovering in the mid 30's it shouldn't stick around very long.
I am sad to say that Copper has resumed his cough. He spent the night at the vet last Wed. and returned home Thursday. We started him on antibiotic drops Thursday for one week. Last Wed. the vet called to see how Copper was doing and other than the occasional sneeze he was fine. Then Thursday he began to cough again. Some of the coughing fits were lasting 15-20 seconds. It seemed to settle down abit but last night he had several episodes and I am anxious for Thursday and his return appointment to the vet to get here. I hope this goes away soon. He still seems to eat and be playful but it is painful to see him crouch down and cough and cough. I have done some research on the interweb and think the diagnosed Viral Upper Respiratory Infection is the correct one but cannot find any info on how long these infections last. Some info states that they may go away and relapse at times of stress. I hope this isn't the case for him.

Poor Copper. Ike had a major snot problem for a long time after we first got him. He would sneeze and snot would fly everywhere. It was pretty gross.
